should i consider doing it?

first of all you shouldnt do something when you THINK its illegal and it is technically altering the system which your not suppose to do

i mean like, is the risk too much for the reward? because free games WOULD F-ING PWN
well, not TECHNICALLY free, i would have to buy the kind of DVDs required

guys, don't consider breaking it into a decision for me, i KNOW i won't, i have a good idea of what i'm doing, i know how to mess with my PS3 and stuff too, the only things im worried about are..
1. Chances of getting caught
2. What if I get the Red Rings sometime in the future, this would void the warrenty.

well, how can they find out? you can make copies of a game you own, and can they prove that I didn't own it? maybe the 360 broke it, so i threw it away and DLed a new copy

idk but they have there ways of finding out

In PA you get 3 years in jail for stealing anything worth over $50 and 5 years for stealing anything over $200 (the equivalent of just under 4 full xbox 360 games).

Personally i think even stealing N64 games is over the top.

Also, they don't care if you own it because backing up music CDs, Games, and other media digitally is illegal but everyone seems to do it.

there are 3 types of disc drives in 360s, hitachi, BENg, and Lite On, BenG and Hitachi, you just do exactly as he does in the video, and your set
Lite on....
you need to get a different program, alot more downloads, and manuel modding equipment, and save different random number codes to do it, so......
i guess i'll have to buy a BenG drive, since, after opening my 360, plugging it into my PC, and using the program.... i found out that i have a Lite On, which looks exactly the same

Mod Chips are easier, but they are detectable I think

if anybody here has a 360 with a BenG drive, i would happily trade my system for your system, along with $30

i still have my broken one, how would i check what kind of drive it is?

whats broke on it? because i cant just trade drives, because i would need to back up numbers from my Lite On, and i dont have the hacking knowledge to do that on a Lite On
so does that mean you have 2? could you send the broken one in? if its the red rings you could fix that

i got the 2 red lights, the console would not even start up so they wanted $150 for me to send it in and i just decided it was a better deal to get a new council with another controller, 5 arcade games, sega superstars tennis, and the new internal architecture that runs on less power and has internal memory for an extra $50.

which one is the hitachi, the one you have, or the 2 red ring one? if its the 2 red ring, than its no use anyways, can you try to find out what drive YOUR xbox is? ill find a video to show how without opening it pretty quick, it'll be in a ps
