It's really hard for any game to beat Galaxy. Still one of the best games i've ever played. Can't wait for the sequel.

actually some game heavily rely and are built for online

a game should not depend on online

the best games have a good, long story mode that is actually challenging and doesn't consist of shooting everything u see

online for any game is a good bonus but if a game is completely dependent on it, that is bad

also ways of artificially increasing game length, like achievements and difficulty levels that make u replay the same story are usually bad unless something with the gameplay actually changes(some good examples are luigi in smg and skulls in halo although halo also has some of the bad ways)

well cod doesnt depend on its online the campaigan is pretty good and you have different achivements to get. the nazi zombies is good too cause u can play by ur self and see what high lvl u can make it too.
