Sliding up-smash: a difficult but useful move

Subject: Sliding up-smash: a difficult but useful move Sat May 10, 2008 2:45 am

This move is performed by (in order):
1. Dashing
2. Down C-stick
3. IMMEADIATELY following, Z up.

You should slide while doing your up smash. You can tell if you've done it correctly. Trust me.

i do this lots with ike, toonlink, and link...but its good you posted this

It works the best with squirtle, hands down

it works great with snake

I'm posting this because my opponet, Chris, mastered this and his combos were unethical with Snake.

ok it works with link real good

I haven't tried it out because I'm not on my Wii atm, but I would guess that the person this would work best for would be Luigi....like how wavedashing worked best for Luigi in the last game, just because he slides so far. Seems like it would be really useful with him.

That's what I thought.
But I believe the distance you slide is equal to the distance of your dash attack.

i can beat ur falco with my link 40% of the time

really cool and useful technique i use it sometimes as well
