Character based tourney

OK chaos, i mentioned this idea waaaayyyyyy back in feburary. I want to host some character based tournements. (Everyone participates as that character) For example: If I hold a "Mario" tournament, everyone who wants to join the tourney must play as mario. And if i do something like, "Mushroom Kingdom Tourney" You can only be characters from that genre/game. Then if I do a versus like "The legend of Zelda V.S. Star fox" Toruney it could be like video game tournaments, where you get two teams on a bracket and make one side legend of zelda characters against star fox characters. And chaos if you alllow me to do this can you put a seperate thread on the main page because it will get confusing.

And also anyone else drop comments and stuff, and post if you think its a good idea.

I think this is a cool idea, as long as you don't allow only the commonly used characters. I mean, I'm a Ness main, and a lot of themes wouldn't involve him. Just try to eventually get all chars in, even if it means an entire tournament of Ikes. Or Jigglypuffs. *shudder*

And besides, i know looootsss of themes, every character would be used frequently ex. if your worried about ness, i wouldnt just do a "Mother" tourney, i would also do something like "the oldies" tourney...were the original 12 characters would be used...i got tons of ideas dont worry

Thats definetely an interesting idea except it could be unbalanced if someone if more experienced with a character over another person but then again, it's all fro fun anyway

that is the point u need to train with every charactor to be a god

why dont we just have single character tourneys, no items, final destination, 5 stock

lol its the rules i dont get it either

you should also have stage tourneys like Battleship Halberd tourney and FOxHound base tourney...

obviously no mario 64 tourney though.... that tourney would make nightmares.

Peach vs. Meta Knight (Awsome)
Bowser vs. DeDeDe (Heavy)

THis would work for Hyrule and pokemon as well
