smash rules healing items on?

i was just wondering will healing items will be on for the tournament. i think they should be turned off.

They are on for this tournament, the only items banned are the samsh balls for the final round.

That sounds good, but it doesn't help the fact that you feel really, really mad when your opponent has 180% damage and gets that Zelda heart.

that's part of the game, if you don't want them to heal so much then KO them when they have 180 damage. My point is anybody who can't KO somebody who has a high damage meter gives more opportunity for them to get the heart, or any recovery item so if you are good you won't let this happen in the first place and KO them.

That is my view on it

the only items i want banned is food and the bumper and explosive boxes

food - it appears way to much. healing is part of the game yes but theres just way to much food.
bumper - holy crap this item is too good. you can smash throw it (push the direction to throw and the a button at the same time) and KO someone when they have 0% damage. thats insane
explosive boxes - bad experiences lol but i just want them banned cause im mad

i think the first tourney should see which items people take advantage to much of, for example if someone uses 1 item and KOs all 4 of someones lives with it or something like that its just crazy.
ill post back on the rules my friends an I decided at the tournament and how it went on sunday or monday just as an example and stuff

hmm i dont really have an item that i want banned, lol their all sooooo gooood. But true skill is to overcome every item and own your opponent.

lol items shouldn't be banned. You have the same chance of getting em as your opponent unless hes sent you way off the stage

wow omg i really think some items should be banned. because you really dont have the same chance to get items. its random and its all based on luck. especially a 3 stock match. i beat a guy in 30 seconds using 2 items and a smash ball. tell me thats skill cause its not at all. 1st ko was he was going to smash attack me and a bomb spawned and he hit it and died. next ko was a golden hammer i got later on. then i got the smash ball while he was dying and finished off with that. its stupid it really is. but im not saying all items should be banned only some. like the instant ko items. other than those i love items

it's 5 stock and as bad as it sounds items are part of the game no matter what, they were put in there for a reason.

5 stocks are amazing, and i know they are put in there for a reason but its like flipping a coin and whoever gets heads wins. thats what it feels like with instant kill items

one instant kill item that is overexagerated is teh bomb
i mean i used to think it was cheap when i used to play a while ago but ive been playin alot again lately and they don't seem nearly as strong

yeah, once u get good at using the shield dodging them is really not a problem

okay okay i know you guys already decided this but im just going to tell you that based on personal experience i recommend these items for tourny play

Smash ball, assist trophy, pokeball, sand bag, dragoon, bunny hood, lip stick, star rod, ray gun, fire flower, smart bomb icee smoke ball, sun spinner, mr. saturn, banana peel, spring, spiky, team healer, franklin badge, samus screw

but like i said, thats just what i am doing for tournys i run

and i dont know what you guys are doing really about stages but these are the only stages we banned

DK waterfall, Port town(f-zero), Warioware, pork city, game and watch(stage), Skyworld, Hyrule temple, Yoshi's Island(DX) and Big Blue

uve been for 58 posts now..........
