an absolute travesty... and it happens to my team and one of my favorite pitchers, i watched the whole game and blew a nut after this
literally a once in a lifeitme thing. has happened only 20 times in the 140 year old history of Major League Baseball, never once for my team and it just got ripped away. OMFG
edit: Think about it, there have been more presidents, more men in space than pitchers to throw a perfect game...

I don't watch baseball, nor do we have it over here, but omg what a terrible call by the umpire!!!

Yea I know, this will go down as one of the worst blown calls in history, not just cause of how bad the call was, but because it ruined an amazing historic event. And Koro, if you lived in Michigan, you wouldn't need to care about baseball to care about this lol, thats all anyone was talking about in school the next day (including me).

Could I change this to SCREW BUD SELIG? lol. Joyce apoligized and admits his mistake, but still a horrible call and no apology will ever suffice, but the Commissioner of MLB Bud Selig announced they will not reverse the call and award Gallaraga the perfect game, even though EVERYBODY admitted it was a horrible blown call, including him, so why not give him his achievement that he EARNED???? HE will never get another chance at this in his lifetime, and it would make everybody happy. He wants to "protect the integrity of the game", yet this is the same guy who turned a blind eye to steroids for almost 10 years. WHAT A JACKASS
