Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

I think that COD:MW2 will be the game that will bring us together and get us more active again. We brawl was coming out, we had all of these threads that hyped up the game. So....here is a thread were you can post all of the newest things and just have a general discussion about Call Of Duty: Modern Warfare 2

Here is some information that i have found:

Plot
-Modern Warfare 2 is to feature Russia in political turmoil once again. Vladimir Makarov, a brutal leader and former associate of Imran Zakhaev, has set in motion a series of events that will threaten global security. After a series of vicious terrorist attacks, the situation is deemed dangerous enough for Task Force 141, led by Captain Soap MacTavish, to be deployed to Russia. There, the force must fight its way through near white-out conditions to infiltrate a secret military base hidden in the mountains. After detonating a large volume of explosives, the team loses the pursuit on snowmobiles. Task Force 141 is later deployed to Rio De Janeiro to capture an arms dealer linked to the plot by ballistics data, eventually being led to the barren lands of Afghanistan. But the intel Task Force 141 is receiving is likely inaccurate, as even they do not understand the danger of Makarov's sinister plot.

They have not released any MP info at all, except that they're tweaking Martyrdom.


Also, this game is not Call of Duty, just Modern Warfare 2.

I have been a member of the IW forums since February ^_^. I have almost 1.5k posts there and I'm hopin to eventually become a mod (eventually!!!!)

Anything MW2 you need ask me, im fuckin nuts.

but there was an article a while ago saying that the next cod by treyarch will be cod7 meaning by process of elimination this mw2 is still in the cod series

i thought it would be the cold war or something but how will it be wwII if in the campaign you go home and all that

yea, that was BEFORE it was announced that MW2 aint cod anmymore, trust me, infinity ward even said, it isnt COD

it DOESNT say cod modern warfare 2, that was an article right after they announced Mw2, they assumed it would be cod again, the OFFICIAL title is Modern Warfare 2
