I should have read that post properly and I would have seen the answer. Good riddle. Here's one of my own (I've loads). What goes up a Chimney down but can't go down a Chimney up?

Ok I'll praise anyone who gets this and I'll respect anyone who gives it some thought.

There is a windowless room with three light bulbs inside. Outside it there are three light switches. You can only enter the room once. How do you find out which light switch goes with each bulb.

I'll give ye lots of time before I tell the answer. Most of the next few posts (if any) will be things like "hold the door open or look through the letterbox" so I'll have to confirm that you can't do anything like that!

You break open the circuit board and arrange them how you want. Then enter the room triumphantly.

Nope no electricians are allowed lol, that one was new by the way and was a good guess. I've heard some very stupid suggestions by the way...

I figured it out with my friend after about an hour of thinking.

I GOT IT: you start in the room and 1 is already on. You leave and turn another on. You then enter the room and you know the third is the remaining switch!!!!!!!!!! Is I write?

Argh this is hard! Why not turn em all on and then go in, if your'e only going to enter once, right?

But you can't tell which one is connected to which light switch if you turn them all on. Take a break from thinking about it and try again later?

I GOT IT AGAIN!! You tell a friend to go inside. You flip 1 switch, then the next, then the next. You remember the order, and so does the friend. Then you know which is which!!!!

I usually list all these out but I didn't want my post to be too long. You are on your own. No help. So nope... keep trying.
