Fallout 3 Mini Review Empty

In terms of giving the player total control this is the best game ever made. You can go anywhere, which can be overwhelming sometimes in case you get lost but the fact you can go anywhere you want is amazing.

The worst thing about the game is the way the story and missions unfold. For example I was given a mission to go halfway across the map into to the biggest town and talk to a person. I thought once I got to the town I'd be given loads of missions, but no...

As soon as I talked to the person I was given a mission to leave again. WTF? This is the biggest town in the game and I only get one mission. Anyway, this isn't a full review, this is a reccommendation to Link and Slayer to buy this game and to everyone else to find someone you know who has it and play it. 9.5/10.

Since this was moved to this section and I've just cleared the game it is time for the Full review.

1.Graphics-9.5/10- Superb graphics. One of the best graphic engines in any game. One thing in particular that I like is the fact that if you see a building/tree/rock miles away, you can actually walk to that landmark and it will be in the exact place that you saw it.

It looses half a point however. This is due to the lact of realism when it comes to the guns that you hold and peoples faces in the game can look stupid sometimes. Also there are no cut-scenes in the game so the makers never had to push themselves very far.

2.Presentation-9.5/10- The presentation and sound are perfect. I like the way you can listen to the radio station while in the hardest parts of the game, it kind of stops any adreneline rushes and helps you save ammo when attacked by something huge and ugly. The controls are great also and the new V.A.T.S system is very clever, it's the first Turn Based System I've ever used in a First Person Shooter.

The reason why Presentation looses half a point however is due to the way you navigate your menu system, which you use to change guns during intense combat, I don't want to be spending 5 minutes every time trying to remember how to change my weapon and heal!

3.Gameplay-10/10- What a game to play. It adapts the difficulty according to how you play so that is not an issue. The length of the game is perfect and you can freeroam anywhere you want on the map. There is not much more to say on the issue, the gameplay is just brilliant.

4.Replayability-10/10- There's no online play which is very dissapointing since you can create your character however you like. The reason it still gets top marks is due to the fact that there is 20 hours worth of storyline and there is 40 hours worth of side missions! No to mention how fun it is going around Nuking people in slow motion.

10/10- I gave this 9.5 in my mini review but the score was brought up thanks to an impressive increase in quality as the story goes on. My reviews seem very generous but I really do think this game deserves top marks.
