I don't like the idea because there are so many people that are of equal eligibility for mods it wouldn't be fair to appoint just one person. As I have said in the past, the admins are enough for keeping the forum up. Our admin to active member ratio is about 1:3 (about 4 out of 12).
Oh and then there's the arguments. I've seen plenty of mod arguments in the past year and 3 months and don't want to see any more.

well are talking about the whole site or forums in categories.cuase if your deleting the site a email would go to the owner but i think theres a two step proccess for deleting a forum

Koro is correct about that, a confirmation email will be sent to owner [chaos] so that the owner will confirm the deletion, so if somone were to hack an admin, he can do whatever he wants but delete the forum, if he hacks the main admin, then he can delete the forum.
