The Video game incident was a glitch because players are scripted to do that after the opponent scores a goal. The real life incident with Ballard was an attempt by him to break his stick on the goal after the opponent scores, this is pretty common too but obviously where they both go wrong is that they completely disregard the goalie in both real life and in the game and end up hitting him. | |
