Official Singles Tournament Rules

Here is where i will update the rules that we (the mods and admins) have voted on (by majority) and decided to be FINAL.

1) All games will be 1 vs. 1, winner advances, loser is out obviously

2) Final Destination will be used as the main stage Unless the two users decide on a stage by themselves

3) All Items on Medium

4) There will be an unlimited amount of registrants with byes awarded randomly

5) A thread will be created for each battle where BOTH participants in that battle must post their Game Code

6) Matchups will be announced May 28th More info on the exact time of the announcement will be revealed as the date gets closer.

7) Any leaving a match in progress will result in disqualification, even if your internet just goes out.

8) No Changing your character after the tournament starts June 1st. This is pretty obvious, but just want to let everyone know you can't change your character.

9) All Matches will be 5 STOCK in the first 4 rounds, with the semi-finals and final being the best of 3 games.

10) The Following are the windows for dates, for a 32 person tournament:
1st Round: 11 days to complete Match (October 5th-18th)
Semi-Finals: 6 days (October 19th-25th)
Final: 2 days (October 26th, October 31st)

Ok, this tournement is shaping up well. We nearly have a full set of people, and we have the registrations for the doubles tourney going already. Way to go all that worked on this!
