My friend somehow got M2. I went over is house and we were playing it, h could go online and everything we beat campaign played spec ops. Its definitly not fake, but he doesnt know were his brother got it.

If a retailer doesn't know the street date and gives the game to you that's considered their fault and not yours so they can't ban you from live either. That was almost certainly the case here.
