Yeah they do, the game has gone gold. A few of the Devs on my friends list were playing Modern Warfare 2 last night.

they have to play it before it comes out just to make sure.also idk if this is true but they have to play it at least once or when there showing people a little piece of action they dont want a achievement poping out showing people what to do.
