If I were you I would get Halo 3 and then buy the Halo 3:ODST's second disk with all the maps and stuff for i think 20 or 30 bucks.

ODST comes with EVERYTHING in Halo 3 except the campaign. ODST also has EVERY multiplayer map pack you have to pay for on the marketplace in addition to 3 exclusive maps that you can't get on the marketplace. I can't even believe you would consider buying Halo 3 at the same price as ODST.
